Budget Brides

As a recent article stated, this is the year of the Recessionista Bride-to-Be. As many brides realize that they don't and shouldn't have to go broke to have the perfect wedding, many are searching for bargains, borrowing and asking talented friends to share their expertise. A typical wedding in Dallas costs between $17,899 and $29,832.
Here are a few cost cutting ideas:
  • Get married on a Friday or Sunday, when many vendors reduce their prices
  • Ask for a cash discount. Vendors have to pay a percentage for processing credit cards
  • A portion of rental fees at historic venues are tax deductible .
